Board Breaking

There's exactly two weeks until grading day. To be frank, I'm pretty nervous. The largest obstacle I still have to overcome is breaking my boards. I've attempted three times already, and have been successful none. I'm working on perfecting my technique so my next attempt is a success. I believe my main issue is confidence. To be successful, I need to convince myself that I'm not going to fail. The way to achieve this is through practice. However, my practice shouldn't be in the form of failed attempts. My practice should be to build my technique and confidence to the point where there are no more failed attempts. I'm well aware that the clock is ticking. Over the coming days, I will be practicing board breaks so much, when it comes to my official attempt, it's going to be a breeze.

Memorization + a bit more

I don't have much to talk about this week. However, over this weekend, I spent a lot of time working on memorizing "Mastery". Just last night, I wrote it all from memory, for the first time. Needless to say, I'm prpud of myself for this, though it's a small accomplishment in the long run. I'm going to keep working on this, to entrench it even further into my mind, so that when I need it, it'll be trivial. As well, for those of you that aren't a part of the "Remind" program for Adopt-A-Driveway, here's the link. https://www.remind.com/join/srkf With winter rolling in, we'll probably be shovelling frequently, and this "Remind" system really helps keep you engaged in the shovelling program. Stay warm!!
